Consultation

If you need legal advice, we hold consultations via videoconference. LJD Law charges $400 CAD for consultations. When you book a consultation, you will receive a confirmation email where we will ask you to fill-out an electronic form to submit the following:

  • A brief summary of your situation (2 page maximum) -this should include a timeline of events and your questions to be answered.

  • Photo I.D. (in accordance with the Law Society of Ontario requirements). All attendees must have a valid government-issued ID and keep cameras on during the consultation.

  • Any other relevant documentation.

Consultation Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules can change. To ensure fairness to all clients and to protect consultation availability, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellations after booking confirmation:
    A $20 administrative fee will be applied.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled consultation:
    A $50 late cancellation fee will be applied.

All applicable fees will be deducted from the total consultation fee, and the remaining balance (if any) will be refunded accordingly.
